You know, it’s funny. I can’t think of one trash talking statement a single UCF player made to the media over the last couple of weeks. We heard about them of course, in the midst of whatever juvenile tirade Leavitt and his gangsta’s had going on. Somehow, they have access to newspapers that the rest of the world doesn’t get to read. But whatever, now that the game is over and done with, you’d think that’d be that. Well.. Maybe.
Matt Grothe was asked if he had any “final” words for UCF fans.
“Don’t mess with something you can’t handle,” he said.
Matt, I know college feels like it will last forever. I was a student once too. It’s just… you need to start thinking about the future. If you keep it up, not a single one of us will ever drive out to Kissimmee to support you in whatever bullshit league you end up playing in. Not only that, but think of all the bill-paying day labor you’re going to miss out on during the off season. Our roofs need to be fixed and all, but not by somebody with that kind of attitude.
Then again, maybe those Big East ref’s will hire you with all their gambling winnings.
